Maybe I'll dissapoint you, but... Russian is my native language and I don't always understand Letov's lyrics, cause they're really outlandish and not always understandable.

vast usage of metaphors, forms, excerpts from proverbs, songs etc. you really need to be a native speaker to fully immerse and understand the lyrics, which definitely are no less important than music. Egor was an absolute genius of both music and poetry.
