Jerry Chang (born October 31, 1981 in Taipei), better known by his stage name JerryC, is a Taiwanese guitarist and composer. He is best known for his song Canon Rock, a rock arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon in D. He began playing the guitar at age 17, and the piano before age 15.
His most famous work, Canon Rock, has become an internet hit. The song has garnered alot of media attention; his rendition has been featured on newspapers, blogs, television shows and radios worldwide.
There have been many covers of Canon Rock. By far the best known is from "Funtwo". His cover has received over 10 million views and is the 5th most viewed video on youtube.com.
Jerry Chang owns a Fender American Deluxe, a Fender Japanese Stratocaster, an ESP Horizon FR-II and a Line 6 Variax 500.
He also has his own band called the "C band". They perform at various clubs and have already done performances on stage at shows.
