SAVE LINA FUNDRAISER SHOW.
Fundraiser planned to save the life of LINA PAREDINHA, with performances by various artists.
SORRY, BUT THE SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED. UNFORTUNATELY, LINA PAREDINHA IS DIED ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 22nd MORNING, ONE DAY BEFORE THE SHOW !! SO IN THAT CASE, IT'S TOO LATE TO SAVE HER, AND THE SHOW CANNOT TAKE PLACE !
Lina Paredinha was a beautiful, talented and sweet Portuguese young girl that had been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage IV. Lina had spent the last few months fighting Cancer a struggle that had been challenging. Lina had been surrounded by love and support from her family and friends, but unfortunately it had reached a point where love was not enough. The only and last solution to save Lina was a form of Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies. This type of therapy can range anywhere from $8000 and up per session. Lina went through this therapy once every 2 weeks.
Rosalina "Lina" Paredinha, 23 years old, came from Viana do Castelo, Portugal, and was hospitalized in Braga. Member of Portuguese band "Trio Zona Minho", Lina was a talented young singer, and performed as a backing vocalist for Portuguese-American international recording artist Jorge Ferreira's annuals Portugal Summer Tour, from 2009 to 2011.
Paula Paredinha, Lina's cousin from the United States, said "I know sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and are worried about other things, but please take two minutes out of your day to donate and help to save Lina's life. Anything and everything counts. We greatly appreciate any donations that are made. Thank you for taking time out of your day to donate to Lina. Please watch her sing in the video on YouTube."
