LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY DJENTLEMEN TOUR

Washington D.C six-piece Periphery have announced their League Of Extraordinary Djentlemen tour - a string of headline UK dates for Jan/Feb 2011. Special guests on the LXD tour will be home-grown lads TesseracT and Monuments.

Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor enthuses, “We are so excited to play in the UK, and especially so with our buddies in Tesseract and Monuments. I have known Acle from Tesseract and Browne and Paul from Monuments for like 5 years now, and it’s going to be awesome to not only tour with some good friends but in brand new places for Periphery! This lineup will make for some fun shows, so be sure to come out and hang with all of us!”

Periphery guitarist Jake Bowen says, "The requests for Periphery to play in the UK have been overwhelming since our debut came out. And now not only do we get to tour there but we get be in the presence of fantastic musicianship from some of our good friends. Metal tours are seldom matched up this well so don't miss out!"

Fresh from supporting Devin Townsend in the USA/Canada, TesseracT are ready to take on the UK. With their EP release and EU tour in the bag, they are looking forward to a relentless touring schedule in 2011 and the release of their début album 'One'.
They had this to say, "After many years of hard work it is finally happening! A TesseracT and Periphery tour! Since Acle and Misha started talking all those years ago, you just knew it would come eventually. We cannot wait to show the UK exactly what both bands are about, and are very happy at the prospect of sharing the stage with such a great band."

Monuments have been hard at work on their own debut. The band recently played the Euroblast Festival in Cologne and are currently on the road in Europe supporting Winds of Plague.

Tickets go on sale on Wed 10th Nov, priced £10 for all shows excluding London (£12).
