Les Nuits 2024: Karpe: Omar Sheriff

Comprised of audiovisual artists Chirag Rashmikant Patel and Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid, Karpe is one of Norway’s most popular rap duos (if not the most popular, and it is not an exaggeration!). Since 2014 and the release of their first EP “Glasskår”, the duo have continued to make a name for themselves with a series of catchy, effective bangers and spectacular, ambitious live shows.

When they last performed at the Botanique in 2023, the group presented “Omar Sheriff”, a project in which Karpe was joined by the collective Quickstyle, which counts twenty or so dancers! A show that already attracted over 110,000 people at Oslo, with a dozen sold-out representations at the Oslo Spektrum Arena.
