Description
Every year in August the sleepy town Guca turns into a big party, the air is filled with the sound of trumpets, streets with dancing people, and every room in Guca with sleeping festivalvisitors.
After the openingssong Sa Ovcara i Kablara the brass bands are walking through the streets and playing their songs to invite people from the whole world to dance and party.
This year the Final Serbian Trumpet Band Competition will be held for the 50th time. Maestros from whole Serbia will compete for the prestige Golden Trumpet award. Beside this competion a various programme with rich cultural heritage like traditional wedding, sport event and art program will entertain the more than 300.000 visitors 10 days long.
Guca is waiting for you to experience this event with every vein in your body that will lift you up to a higher level to a happening you will never forget.
In 2010 the Guca Festival will celebrate it's 50th Anniversary!!! For this occasion it will last for 10 whole days of trumpet music, brass competition and of course a magnificient party!
