Description
The Orange Evolution Festival in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England is a one-day music festival sponsored by the mobile phone operator Orange SA.
It features two stages in the Spillers Wharf area of the Newcastle Quayside as well as a stage near the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead.The 2005 Line-up featured The Futureheads and Fightstar and in 2006, the line-up included The Proclaimers and HARD-Fi. The 2007 line-up featured Maximo Park and Larrikin Love.
For 2008 the festival has been renamed 3volution and is for the Water Aid Charity.
