DESCRIPTION :

Owned and operated by Six Flags, The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom in beautiful Lake George, New York, is a theme park that has served as a summer haven for generations of families for decades. It was opened in 1954 by businessman Charles Wood as Storytown USA. Today, it's home to over 135 rides and attractions including thrill rides, family rides and a full water park. Thrills await teens and adults on The Comet, rated as one of the world’s top coasters, and the 192 foot drop tower, Sasquatch. Little ones love Wiggles World and Looney Tunes National Park, and there's plenty for everyone in between.

This year, the park debuts the best in live entertainment with a dynamic schedule filled with nine brand new shows including Arctic Olympic Games in Splash Theatre. Splashwater Kingdom Water Park will be home to a brand new “Beach Bum Surf Co.” and all new souvenirs and unforgettable experiences await in the historic International Village. Young princesses will experience even more magic as Cinderella’s castle has been rebuilt from the ground up. Created straight from the fairytale, the new structure and surrounding landscape will be the perfect backdrop to the Pumpkin Coach and, of course, Cinderella herself, and featuring a journey through the early years of Storytown USA and The Great Escape. Popular elements from the nursery rhyme themed park have been renovated and given new homes along the train’s tracks.
