UNTAPPED FESTIVAL
Untapped organizers are proud to announce the 3rd annual Dallas Untapped Fest will take place on November 1, 2014 outside Gilley’s in the Cedars Neighborhood of Downtown Dallas.
The 3rd installment of Untapped Festival in Dallas will prove to be the biggest and best yet with the largest, most eclectic music lineup and impressive beer list to date.
“Untapped was literally ‘brewed’ in Dallas so we view this as our flagship. The Dallas event is going to highlight the continuing evolution of the Untapped brand as something that within the increasingly cluttered festival landscape is distinct and meaningful. As such, we expect to debut a larger footprint, add new amenities and are working on a few other surprises. We’re also adding a third stage,” says festival organizer, Matthew Harber.
Untapped’s goal has always been to bring the best in emerging music to seasoned beer drinkers and to introduce new and exciting craft beers to impressionable music fans. As we continue to help bridge the gap between beer and music communities, we also hope to celebrate artists we know and love. “The Dallas line-up has been many months in the making and by far the strongest in the history of Untapped,” says Spune Productions founder, Lance Yocom.
This year’s band lineup will include CAKE, Shovels & Rope, Deltron 3030, The Polyphonic Spree, Cayacus, METZ and Jamestown Revival with additional acts to be announced soon.
The beer list will feature over 200 highly sought-after, unique craft beers from more than 70 breweries and will reflect the high quality and special selections festival-goers have come to expect from the Untapped Fest brand. “Every year in Dallas we try to up the ante and improve over previous years. This year will be no different and we anticipate putting together the best beer list yet,” says festival organizer, Corey Pond. The beer list will be announced soon.
Untapped Dallas will once again be located in the Cedar’s neighborhood outside Gilley’s on South Lamar. Anchored by the main stage backing up to Lamar Street the event will also utilize the expansive patio of The Loft to dramatically highlight the Dallas skyline. The festival will encompass a space that extends from Lamar Street, past Austin Street and backs up to the future location of the newly announced Alamo Drafthouse.
