that's good! she deserves it. I started listening to her after Naked came out and I thought my interest might start to wane, but tbh I've only become more obsessed with her since then, especially with the release of NG. she has definitely proven herself to be an icon.

i don't know how familiar you are with jpop idol culture... but it's normal for them to have their personal lives open to their fans and it's a very different contrast from kpop idol culture(at least in this segment), maybe that's why you're shocked, but it's something very common, there are several big jpop idols who are mothers/married and still active as idols.
