Thranenkind's last album was excellent, then I lost site of them after the name change... finally get round to Wounds, and now they're split up? Why? Wounds is incredible!

I think in the statement they said that they all have jobs and live pretty far away from each other. So they didn't have the time and the money to continue as a band.

I remember when I was sad when they discontinued doing that edgy black metal stuff and thought "all those vegan/anti-capitalism lyrics, keep politics away from music...". But I was wrong. This is exactly what we needed. I just wasn't matured enough to see at this time.
