I recognise your attempt to sound intellectually superior to me, but assuming at least one member of a boy band is gay is rather immature, and my remark hinted at the possibility that if a male assumes that he actually fears he is gay himself. That's one of the main reason for not liking homosexuals, and using "gay" as an insult. Your only reason to assume this is gay music or at least one of them is gay is your dislike for the music. If a band that consists of male members and sings love songs to girls, not even hinting they secretly want boys, why isn't anyone calling The Beatles gays? And if you say because this is real quality music, that just further proves this labelling arises from your dislike. Interestingly, people don't call Pet Shop Boys, Queen, and Elton John gay nearly as often as "commercial bands", and they are actually gay (well, only one Queen member).
