Wolfheart at it's best, later two album are decent and good (in that order) but never get as good as Winterborn. This album was pure - No extra layers, no choirs, no overdoing synth, no overabundance of blasbeasts and brutality, just pure melodic lead guitarwork leading you through this. After later album's busy nature I long for the simplicity and perfection this CD was.

Agreed with GloomyPariah. The material is good in its own right, and it definitely seems to be drawing o the more WIntersun style riffs Tuomas wrote for Rise of the Phoenix. WOuld love to see this go in an even more folk metal influenced direction, to truly give the project its own style.
