VULTURES 1 is the debut studio album by American hip hop superduo ¥$, comprised of rapper Kanye West and singer Ty Dolla $ign. It was released on February 10, 2024, through YZY. The album features uncredited guest appearances from Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Freddie Gibbs, Nipsey Hussle, YG, Lil Durk, Bump J, Rich the Kid, Chris Brown, India Love and West's daughter, North West. Production was handled by West and Ty Dolla Sign, among others. Previously known as Vultures: Volume 1, the album serves as a follow-up to both artists' respective 2021 albums, Donda and Cheers to the Best Memories, and marks their first independent album.
Vultures experienced multiple delays and continuous alterations to tracks and the tracklist prior to its final release after being teased throughout late 2023 under the placeholder title ¥$. Several listening events announced to promote the album, including a multi-stadium listening event and a concert in Reggio Emilia, were canceled. The title song was released on November 22 as the lead single. West previewed Vultures 1 for fans at a restaurant in Wynwood, Florida on December 8 and held the first in a set of listening events titled "Vultures Rave" four days later, which featured artists who would appear on the album. Listening parties in Chicago and New York City on February 8 and February 9, 2024, respectively, bookended the release of the second single, "Talking / Once Again".
The album was released on February 10, coinciding with the twentieth anniversary of the release of West's debut studio album, The College Dropout (2004).
