Afor Gashum (‘Rainy Grey’) was an indie rock band from Tel-Aviv, which worked between the late ’80s and early ’90s. It was led by songwriter and vocalist Michal Sapir. Other members were Oded Shechter - bass, Oren Kaplan - guitar, Oren Raviv - drums, Alon Yadgar - guitar. Afor Gashum released an audio cassette entitled ‘February’ in 1989, and a couple of radio 12” one-sided singles (a popular format in the Israeli music industry prior to CDs) that are now sought-after rarities.
