Biography
Bo La'bar is an Israeli punk rock supergroup, comprised of Ishay Berger (Useless ID) on vocals & guitar, Evil Haim (Whorecore, Nail Within) on vocals & bass, and Jonathan Harpak (Useless ID, Punkache) on drums & percussion, though the band never plays live in this trio line-up and instead hosting a variety of guests from the punk rock/metal scene to play guitar and bass live. Notable guests on live shows include Matan Cohen (Betzefer), Nir Doliner (Whorecore), Yotam Ben-Horin (Useless ID), Avital Tamir (Betzefer), Corey Switft (Mondo Gecko, The Backliners), Assaf Meiden (Whorecore), Guy Geller (Friday Night Sissy Fight), Yair Kampel and more.
The band sings in Hebrew, and performs in many venues and bars around Israel, mostly with hardcore and heavy metal bands. The band has released some demo songs in 2008, while working on their debut album… and finally on July 8, 2011, the band released their debut album "Bong Rock".
April first, 2012 saw the release of their second album "Shtaim". It included a track called "The worst show in town" talking about how the band was bored of playing the same songs over and over again.
October 10, 2013 the band announced cease of activity and shortly after, October 12, 2013 released their third and final album "Gimel".
