マルコ (Marco) started activities in 2012 as ギースパープル, a solo project of 礼 (Rei).
They then transitioned as a full-fledged band, マルコ (Marco) with official members on September 7, 2014, under the label VOLTAGE ENTERPRISE, of which guitarist akira is president.
Gt.Rutta and Dr.Kyouhei departed from the band on September 10, 2017, due to family reasons. Marco has since continued on with their 3 remaining members, plus a support drummer.
