Li Yugang(Chinese: 李玉刚; pinyin: Lǐ Yùgāng), is a Chinese singer and actor. He became well known in China since he performed in the program Avenue of Stars of CCTV. His famous songs are Drunkened Concubine(贵妃醉酒), the Flowers' Funeral by Daiyu(黛玉葬花), etc.
Li came to prominence after he came third place in the Star Boulevard (星光大道) programme on Chinese Central Television in 2006.He performed as a male Dan (female role) singing part of a Peking opera aria "Farewell to the Concubine" (霸王别姬) in a pop style.
He became a highly sought-after performer afterwards. In 2009 he joined China Opera and Ballet Company. He also performs in his own show, including one in Sydney Opera House in 2009 as well as in other countries in 2010.
