Biography
ASTRO (Hangul: 아스트로) is a six-member South Korean boy band formed by Fantagio in 2015. The members include: leader Jinjin, MJ, Cha Eunwoo, Moonbin, Rocky, and Yoon Sanha. ASTRO released their debut mini album, titled "Spring Up", on February 23, 2016.
During 2015, ASTRO starred in a web drama series, titled To Be Continued. The members starred as themselves along with Kim Sae-ron, Seo Kang-joon and Hello Venus. In January 2016, ASTRO starred in their own reality show, Astro OK! Ready, which was aired on MBC Every1 at 7PM KST. The group also made an appearance on KBS variety show, Golden Bell Challenge.
ASTRO's first mini album, "Spring Up", was released on February 23, 2016 with the title song "숨바꼭질 (Hide & Seek)". The same day, they announced their official fanclub name: AROHA, which stands for ASTRO Hearts All Fans. Only three week after their debut, "Spring Up" entered the Billboard World Albums Chart at number 6.
