Biography
1000 West was a band formed in Clearfield High School by Scott Jones, Dallon Weekes, Matt Glass and Cory Rowley. The band played school talent shows and assemblies and in it's later years even recorded records in Cottage Studios. The Lineup would change later going on to drop Cory Rowley after 1996 and welcome Elliot Decker, Bryan Szmanski and Kris Lightfoot to the band. 8 CDs were made (7 of which listed on the bands website) and the band had recorded Beatles covers on 4-track and Mixdown Cassettes throughout the bands lifetime when in 1999 the group graduated from high school. Disbanding to go on mission for the church of latter day saints. In 2003 Scott, Dallon and Matt got back together with classmate Michael Gross and formed The Brobecks, which would later welcome Bryan Szymanski to the band effectively making 1000 West a sort of Proto version of The Brobecks

Understandably due to the nature of this band not a lot of information is known, nor is a lot of the music they made actually available. Only 2 of the 8 known CD's from the band are publicly available, the rest are presumed lost to time.
