The "3 Cold Men" is a french-brazilian band formed in 1999 by Franck Lopez, Alex Twin and Maurizio Bonito.

Their sound could be described as something related to, among others, Kraftwerk, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, New Order, The Cure and Front 242… Basically late 70s, 80s and also some new alternative acts from the 90s & beyond…

So far they released 2 albums and an 12" Single. The first CD was "The 3 Cold Men" (2004 - SSI + SoulFood / Sony), followed by "3 Cold Men | Urban RMXS" (2005 - LadoZ / Wave Propaganda). This one has remixers from all over the world, but mostly from France (Celluloide, Foretaste, Peter Elliot, People Theatre & Nouvelle Culture).

The 12" called "X-Fragile Remixes" was released by Killabeat records (Berlin) and features remixes from the well known DJ Spud(GER) and also Playkiddo(GER/BR), DJ Wehbba(BR) and DJ Alex Dee (GER).

Last year, they played in Germany (at the Wave Gothic Treffen), Holland (openning for IAMX & Gotter Daemerung); Spain (openning for XPQ-21 & Vigilanti), Belgium & France with some special guests: Rui Ramos, who played drums for a while in the 80s band "Clan Of Xymox" from the Cocteau Twin´s british label "4AD" & Catherine Marie, who sings and plays antic instruments on "O Quam Tristes".

Their next CD "Photogramm", produced by Rodolfo Wehbba, will be released in 04/2007. There is an virtual single called "Piktogramm" free for download on their site:
