"P.I.M.P." is a song written by 50 Cent and Kon Artis for 50 Cent's commercial debut album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'", released as the third single from it. The song is recognized with its steel drum tune. An official remix of the song was made, featuring Snoop Dogg, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck which was more successful than the original version.
The first "P.I.M.P. Remix" was featured on DJ Whoo Kid's G-Unit Radio Pt.1 mixtape. It featured a verse and chorus from Snoop Dogg and a new 50 Cent verse.
The second "P.I.M.P. (Remix)" features G-Unit and Snoop Dogg and peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song begins with 50 Cent's first verse from the original version, followed by verses from Snoop Dogg, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck.
