Biography
A Thousand Allies, progressive metal/rock, djent band from Turkey, was originally united as progressive pop band in 2016 by Berkay Gülünay and Buğra "Burrito" Yaşar, when they were in highscool. Over the years, the band reunited in 2020 by including Özgür Kurt, who was also their highscool friend, in the family. This trio was always dreaming about making progressive music like Dream Theater, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Symphony X etc. since 2015. The band's goal is the create works that will leave a mark in the name of progressive music for Turkey and the world. Their 12 and a half minute debut song Chaos Control, which is in their upcoming conceptual album, was released on June 5th, 2021. After that, they released their super emotional 2nd single So Long, the One in July 9th, 2021. They released their 3rd & final single from their upcoming conceptual album "Abandoned Messenger", I Gave All in September 3rd, 2021. They will reveal all their magical musical minds with Berkay Gülünay on guitars and vocals, Buğra Yaşar on guitars and bass, and Özgür Kurt on the drums and engineering.
