Aelfric, a professional musician, music instructor and former harp builder who plays traditional Germanic folk music.
On Songs of the Ancient Goths (2002) Aelfric and HallDream present restored texts in the ancient Gothic language, in elder verse form, cleverly merged with authentic Visigothic melodies found in manuscripts preserved in the old Goth-lands of Spain
In The Wita (1999) Aelfric tells the story of Garman Lord and the beginnings of Theodish Belief in the true eldritch mead-hall style; a masterwork of the scop's craft!
In Songs of the Elder Trow (1998) The music of pre-conversion England and Old Frisia, eerily evocative in it's ability to speak to some long-lost yet never forgotten depth of the folk soul. Ancient and new compositions by various galdormen. The vocals are poems/songs in the Anglo-Saxon language accompanied by the Anglo-Saxon harp, penny whistle, drum and other instruments.
