Aaron is an actor, and singer/songwriter, from the North East of England, who seamlessly fuses a diverse array of influences, to create a style that is darkly unique.
Simultaneously hearkening back to the heroes of old, and embracing new developments, he evokes a sound that is both fresh, yet sweetly nostalgic.
Having grown up singing in school choirs, and performing in various musical theatre productions across the North East, before briefly becoming involved with the UK Pop Punk scene – Aaron has explored a vast number of avenues, and he brings them all to the table, within his original songs.
Telling the stories of his struggles with mental health, and personal journeys, in brutally candid fashion – Aaron paints a tableau that will entice you with its vulnerability, and perhaps encourage a degree of self-reflection in the listener.
With a modicum of success already attained through releasing 2 DIY, self-recorded EPs, and a number of gigs across the UK already under his belt – Aaron is preparing to enter 2019 with what promises to be his best, and most ambitious material to date.
Quickly building a reputation as a versatile, and spirited performer: Aaron Hastings will be a name that you’ll be hearing a lot more of before too long.
