There are two artists known as Act of Defiance.
1. A thrash metal band formed in 2015 by Chris Broderick and Shawn Drover, both former Megadeth members. Their debut album The Birth and the Burial was released August 21, 2015 through Metal Blade Records. They released their 2nd album Old Scars, New Wounds on September 29, 2017.
2. Act of Defiance were a punk rock band formed in Gloucestershire, England during the early eighties. They were one of the many second wave punk bands, known as the UK82 era in the united kingdom.
The song Nuclear Nightmare was featured on the B-Side of an LP compilation I've Got Those... Demo-Lition Blues! released by 'Insane Records' in 1983.
Have a song Gonna be a War on a cassette compilation. Pulse of a Nation released with the Rising Free fanzine in 1983
