Biography
Adam Sams is a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist with a desire to encourage and inspire listeners. Hailing from Augusta, Ga., Sams has been performing in coffee houses, listening rooms, and living rooms across the Eastern U.S. since releasing his 2011 EP 'Welcome to the Motion.' His debut full-length studio album 'Tightwire,' released in 2013, was produced by Don Chaffer (Waterdeep) and shows considerable growth in Sams’ songwriting and musicianship. The majority of instruments on 'Tightwire' were performed by Sams. The album also features several notable guest musicians, including Matt Slocum (Sixpence None the Richer) and Nashville singer/songwriter Sandra McCracken. 'Tightwire' showcases Sams’ creative and intricate blend of acoustic rock while embodying the timeless storytelling appeal of songwriters from the 60s-70s. Ultimately, Sams’ songs are driven by their memorable melodies and the honest messages they convey. Accessible to all who are willing to listen, Sams’ music is hopeful, compelling and uplifting.
