Biography

Born in North London, Agent Orange is an English musician and producer from Romford, Essex, England. His first album, “Music to Dance and Listen to”, was released in 2000. Heavily reflective of the technology and “Fatboy Slim” dance culture of the time, a good half of it is “slice and dice” samples, speed and key matched (“Take My Hand”, “Come On”, “Higher”) blended together with seventies Bowie / Kraftwork Tributes (“Berlin”, “At the Edge of Time”). Other influences are French band Air and Moby. A second album of remixes (“Bug Fixes and Remixes”) partially restored is added as extra tracks to the original “Music…” album.

The second album, “Everythings gone Orange” (2006), increasingly explored synthetic and dance motifs and featured guest vocals from Alana (The Quiet Awakening). Rather than a coherent whole it has grown organically as a collection of individually released tracks.

Recently he has acted as house producer for Orange House Music and produced the debut album for the Quiet Awakening (“Satellite Thoughts” (2007)) as well as “Live at the Moonshine Jamboree” (2008).
