Biography
Aggeu Marques is a Brazilian singer-songwriter. He started his career in Beatles cover bands, which laster for about 15 years. He was part of Sgt Pepper's Band and Hocus Pocus, both successful cover bands, specially in the Liverpool International Mersey Beatles Festival.
In 2000 Aggeu decided to write his own material, clearly Beatles-oriented, but merged with other influences such as Oasis, Radiohead and Brazilian's Clube da Esquina. The result was "Quer Saber", his 1st Solo album, released in 2001.
In 2003 the second CD was released. "Aggeu" features his most successful song up to date, "Maquina do Tempo", which was also recorded by Flavio Venturini. The album was released through Venturini's label, "Trilhos Arte".
In 2007 Aggeu released his 3rd album, "Ultrassom", once again as an independent artist. Highlights of this album are "Um Desencontro a Mais" and "Verão nos Andes", with Flavio and Claudio Venturini.
2008 will celebrate Aggeu's 20th year as an artist.
