Biography
Born and raised in the suburbs of Sabadell and now based in Barcelona, Aidan Salem is an independent artist, singer, songwriter and producer. After some failed music projects, they decided to start producing their own music.
In 2020, Aidan finally released their first solo single 'Control' "a nana of relief, a war between duality, gender, sexuality and expression".
In 2021, Aidan released their first self produced mixtape 'DISTORTIONS', an ode to Aidan’s passion for pop and electronic music. “Something I've learned over the years as an artist and as a music consumer, is that pop music can be as clever, as twisted, as dramatic, as fun as any other genre - but with pop you don't need to fit your work and thoughts into a tiny box. Pop is endless".
In august of 2022 Aidan released ‘Are You Satisfied?', the first extract of their debut album coming in late 2023. Aidan has defined this new era as way more dark, truthful, experimental, raw and emotional than it's predecessor 'DISTORTIONS'. “I want to take care of every little detail because I want to be able to listen to this record twenty years from now and still reflect who I am and who I’ll be as an artist”.
