Biography
The Ajde Braco orchestra was formed in 2005 and was founded by young folk and jazz musicians from Hungary to tribute and bow in front of the music and rythm of the south serbian and Macedonian area. The band’s songs originate from Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish, Romanian, Serbian and Gypsy culture, keeping the traditions with all respect. The orchestra’s number one aim is to give temperamental, unique concerts and to light up the atmosphere. Pulsing rythms and the extraordinary wind techniques bring motivation to the audience which will lead them into dancing. Ajde Braco includes 10 musicians with the instruments of trumpet, saxophone, tuba, drums and percussion and the beautiful voice of folk singer Tünde Farkas. Since the band was formed only two years ago it is an option not just to duplicate but to bring new elements and ideas to the songs keeping the essential attributes of the style of Balkanian folk music.
