My best discovery this year, the joy of finding such a fantastic and prolific artist.

Particularly I started with the one you started listening (Ovuca Bonus) and Mental Union 4, found them good and thanks to that I got interested in his music. The standalone albums like Paradox, Moonshine are great as well. As of now, I ''finished'' circa 25% of the discography and the first series I listened was PHANTASIA (I personally enjoyed). Saw somewhere to avoid listening the Colundi Sequence's albums straight away, but I'm currently on the 7th and as I hear other series I note the connection between them. Maybe someone more familiar can shed a better light, but since I plan to listen everything, any album/series will do for me (currently on the Spectrum and CYCLES series), although I follow their order.

His 2017-2019 releases still remain the absolute best he has done so far. Starlight, Sunshine, Moonshine, Simulation and Paradox. Just incredibly sublime techno and drum&bass tracks.

I agree with your take. It seems that period had the best ratio of quantity to quality, and the releases themselves were different from each other. I mean, I like his latest stuff a lot still, it just doesn't surprise me as his previous used to.

i noticed this back when the albums came out, it's an unicode character called "ZERO WIDTH SPACE" (U+200B). it's on the album titles on his bandcamp idk why, probably an accident or a bug

"The track titles are the ISRC codes. And because there are so many tracks, it also makes it a lot easier. Then I can copy/paste (laughs) the ISRC code, and as there’s hundreds of tracks, I would run out of ideas for what to call this and that. And ISRC codes are kind of simple or easy in terms of you can see which year it came out, which cat[alogue] number it is on and which record label — it’s all in the name, so that’s quite handy in a way. Although I know it’s a nightmare, they all look the same and so forth. I’ve had a lot of feedback on that." - Aleksi Perälä Source: https://igloomag.com/profiles/aleksi-perala-oct-2021

Midnight Sun 2A and B both added to Spotify. Just over two weeks into 2021 and he's already released three albums. I wish I'd been this productive during lock down.
