Alfonoso Letelier Llona (1912-1994) was a chilean classical music composer and one of the most important in the XX century in his country. He focused in religious music in his early years, then he explored a more neoclassical, romantic-based sound influenced to end up in contemporary classical, where he developed works along the lines of serialism and dodecaphonism. He studied with Pedro H. Allende, another relevant chilean composer.
