Another winner from the original incarnation of Alice Cooper (when the name referred to a band rather than just the singer). I'm not sure why or how it happened, but there is a tendency among many otherwise knowledgeable music listeners to view Alice Cooper as "shock rock" that relies on gimmicks to move units which contain cheesy, disposable music. This has seldom been the case with Alice Cooper the solo artist and was NEVER the case with the band, which made some of the best, toughest-sounding Hard Rock of the 70s, filled with strong melodies, the awesome guitar work of the late Glen Buxton and the always entertaining and frequently very insightful lyrics of singer Vincent Furnier/Alice Cooper. Their run of records from Love It to Death through Muscle of Love is essential, with this being one of their most popular and consistent offerings. Most people who know Classic Rock probably know "No More Mr. Nice Guy," but the other tracks are terrific as well.

That's what I'm always trying to tell people, but they never listen. One of my favorite artists, be it in the band incarnation or the solo artist.

Awesome, one of his best albums, and the last released with his original band, if I remember correctly
