“A voice that could stop wars” one listener claimed. As far as we know it’s unproven, but there’s no doubt this girl’s got soul. Influenced from an early age by well-established musicians and 80′s legends Bros recording music in a home studio next door to her house in South London, Alice began playing a variety of instruments throughout her childhood gathering influences and creative ideas from many different musicians and countries travelled.
Her first five track recording entitled ‘Circle Me Sea’ rapidly sold out rapidly within three months. She went on to showcase her material at Larmer Tree Festival in July 08 to a packed out marquee where limited edition EP’s were all snapped up within minutes. Then, by popular demand, Alice has put together an accomplished album entitled ‘Your World’ working alongside a bunch of talented musicians .
More recently she has been working across international shores on her new material alongside Eric Tate in New Haven, Connecticut, and Alan Douches at West West Side Music, New York.
Musicians involved in the live shows come from backgrounds of jazz, folk, soul, reggae and the street which creates a completely unique experience for each gig.
With some critics comparing her vocal style from Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy to Joni Mitchell this song dreamer will leave you with a lasting impression.
