I agree they are both very, very good. AiC were a more natural fit for this format though, as they already had a lot of quieter/acoustic songs, whereas Nirvana didn't and had to supplement with some (fantastic) covers. The most iconic commonality is that each show was one of the last performances for both singers.

Do you know if the Queensryche Unplugged is available as a CD? I'd really like to have a copy of that.

It's not, a shame. The 1992 "MTV Unplugged" set of them only contains 5 songs: "Della Brown", "I will Remember", "The Lady wore Black", "Silent Lucidity" and "I will Remember". "Silent Lucidity" and "I will Remember" were released on the "Sign of the Times" single in 1997, but I never saw the other 3 tracks on a regular release. I've digitalized mine from my VHS recording back then. You can buy an unofficial CD on Discogs.

"I Will Remember" and "Silent Lucidity" are on the Hear in the now Frontier remaster. I guess I'll get that.

How can you call it unplugged ? that's bullshit, man. they all have electroacoustic instruments on that album ! I noticed it when i listened to "Would" and i thought "man, that bass doesn't sound acoustic at all" and looked at the video to see that... it's a very good album, but calling it Unplugged is a joke to me.
