Biography
Aliek (Uh-Lie-Eck) is an artist based out of Los Angeles who toys with the dichotomy of grandness and simplicity. This cinematic and contemplative Pop-R&B transports you to a dreamy alternate reality, and somehow simultaneously feels like you’re talking to your friend in your living room.
A sensitive soul since childhood, Aliek has always felt their emotions grandly but didn’t always have the tools to identify and expand on them. Their debut music explores that; the thoughts and desires had while engaging in and navigating relationships, and the power of speaking those truths into the universe and gaining a better understanding of self.
Their partner in crime, good friend and producer Lou Koo (who has worked with amazing artists like Doja Cat, Jarina Demarco, Blimes, Gifted Gab, Gavlyn, and so many more) has created these beautiful and spacious soundscapes that both support and highlight Aliek’s moody and soulful vocals. A triumphantly balanced sound made possible by their harmonious relationship, where nothing is competing to be seen but working in tandem.
