Biography
Alive Stone is Alexander Emelin, born 1984, Lviv, Ukraine.
From the very beginning, music has played a major role in Alexander’s life. Since childhood, when he spent many hours listening to vinyl records and the radio, and playing the guitar, he has loved music.

In the autumn of 2006 Alive Stone, together with DJ Base-T, started his own radio show, “Escape Session on Sentimental Radio,” dedicating it to the Trance and Progressive culture. In early 2007 he signed his first tracks to Tranceport Recordings, and one of these tracks “Alive Stone – Crush” was supported by DJ’s worldwide, making it onto the top charts of one of the largest online music shops, Beatport. Soon after, his next release “Strength of Wind” received huge support from Ukrainian and Russian DJs. This track was also included in the CD compilation "Tranceport Vol 1" in June 2007. More signed tracks followed, “Snowslip” and “Summer City,” signed to Abstraction Records. Once again these tracks found interest among DJs and listeners alike. And lest we not forget “Toltec – Afterglow” which gained support from one of the hottest producers around – Sean Tyas. Alive Stone even allowed downloads of this bootleg for free – and in very good quality.
