Born Almir Lyrio Pereira in downtown Rio de Janeiro Brazil, singer, songwriter, producer, composer, guitarrist, businessman and true romantic is the Brazilian-American Almir Ricardi. A man of all things, for all seasons, for all emotions. Mature in style, young at heart.
In the entertainment business for over three decades, this formally trained-singer who sings in Portuguese and English was taught at the finest schools in Brazil. His voice is sexy and relaxing. His songs you can dance to. Almir Ricardi came to the USA for the first time in 1979. He went back and forth. In 1981 he has released a single "Pura" with his parternes Lincoln Olivetti and Robson Jorge, and between this to 1983 he rode on the success of the realease. That was a major hit in radios and dancing clubs. In 1984 he recorded FESTA FUNK that also became a legendary record, and to become one of the most popular record in South America.
