Amal Maher is one of the rising, talented Egyptian young singers.
Amal Maher grew up with only one sound: Oum Kalthoum’s. Enamoured by her art, she dreamed of a singing career. It was her husband, Mohamed Dia' who gave her the opportunity to achieve her childhood dream by proposing a song and a music video to her. “Argouk Oulli (Eih Beinak We Beinha)” was a great success, earning Amal Maher the recognition she sought and huge sales on her album.
Amal was accused of blackmailing her husband to divorce her in the press soon after. The issue brought much unwanted attention to Amal's private life.
Amal Maher is now preparing for her second album.
