Listening to Amarula Café Club is to find yourself at a crossroads between homemade roots and luscious product. All against a backdrop of catchy rhythms, bewitching chants and notes distilled by an agile guitar, one suspects African. We are a little confused: what languages do we speak here? English with a South African accent where the "r's" roll in the middle of onomatopoeias, French sprinkled with Malagasy, Spanish … Although open to all trends, Amarula Café Club remains authentic, a band, a real one, composed of 4 born musicians. They release and diffuse an extraordinary energy in live performances that have everything of a party where pop melodies intersect with the ardor of Afrobeat and rock, the flow of rap and the chill of house, all of it. on a rhythm that would make statues dance.
