Biography

Anaku is a band of contemporary shamanic ethnic music created in Santiago, Chile, in 2008. The original members are Oscar Prieto Molina and Victor Contreras Escanilla.

Anaku contains in its sounds all those stories that have faded over time, which with the passing of the years seem simple myths or ancestral tales. Anaku tells the story of man, of their people and their gods. Although its subject may seem contradictory to the religious thoughts, creationists or Darwinists, product of human ignorance or inability to accept other realities, Anaku stories are visible worldwide. Anaku is the gods starstone, the tin City.

Anaku influences are mainly ethnic music of the peoples of the world and musicians as R. Carlos Nakai, Jorge Reyes or Mauricio Vicencio.

In 2008, Oscar Prieto Molina invites Victor Contreras Escanilla to work on a musical project based on mythical stories of Earth, mainly on the origin of mankind, of their people and their gods, named “Crónicas de la Rebelión del Sol Dorado” (Chronicles of the Rebellion of Golden Sun), whose work he already had been developing since 2003, through stories he had written on the net for web pages Nephilim and Armonías Universales.

You can freely download the full album “Crónicas de la Rebelión del Sol Dorado”.
Anaku discs will always be released for free, only with the commitment of those who spread their music respect copyright, and tracks are used not for profit.
