Ever since she was a little girl Angela knew one thing for sure: she wanted to be singer. Her mother was a singer in a popular soul band and that influenced Angela a great deal. Listening to her mothers albums of vocalists like Donny Hathaway, Minni Ripperton, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle and Whitney Houston Angela knew she wanted to become a singer as well. At the age of fifteen Angela started partaking in talent shows and joined the girl group Dope Inspiration.
