Biography
Animal Empire was an experimental rock/post-hardcore band from Providence/Coventry, Rhode Island, United States. After a year of writing and 30 shows within the Rhode Island scene they headed to Wakefield, Massachusetts to record their debut EP called ‘Complicate The World’ with Jay Maas (Defeater). ‘ The album was released on December 10th and is currently available on iTunes. The band will be touring to support the album this Spring and will be back in the studio this Summer. Animal Empire is a collection of sounds ranging from Pierce The Veil type prog melodies to Of Machines type screams. This band is pretty talented considering the high range of their lead singer to the technical prowess of their instrumentalists; but they’re not just a talent showcase, these guys can write some seriously smooth melodies that are truly pleasing to the ears. This band has a ton of potential and their newest release seems to be off to a great start.
