Ann Coulter (/ˈkoʊltər/; born December 8, 1961) is an American far-right political commentator, syndicated columnist, and lawyer. She became known as a media pundit in the late 1990s, appearing in print and on cable news as an outspoken critic of American liberalism.
Her syndicated column for Universal Press Syndicate appears in newspapers, and is featured on conservative websites. She has also written 12 best-selling books expressing her political opinions, including American traditionalism, Christian conservatism, strong opposition to immigration, and advocacy of the white genocide conspiracy theory.
Southern Poverty Law Center and news media have criticized her ties to white nationalism, characterizing many of her comments as racist, and accusing her of bringing neo-fascist viewpoints into the mainstream. Coulter has denied these accusations.
