Anna Butterss is a contemporary American jazz musician and bassist from Los Angeles, CA, United States. Having done time with drummer/producer Makaya McCraven as well as pop/rock artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Aimee Mann, Activities (2022) was her first solo outing as a leader, demonstrating Butterss broad definition of jazz in its most omnivorous form.
