Biography
Antonio Mazzei is a Venezuelan Pianist and Composer.
Born in May 6th, 1987 in Caracas.
He studied music since the age of 7 on The Juan Manuel Olivares Conservatory, and degree in Jazz in the National University of Arts.
He has worked and recorded with many important Jazz musicians around Venezuela such as Gilles Grivolla, Biella DaCosta, Laurent Lecuyèr, Gonzalo Micó, Pablo Gil, Gustavo Carucí, Carlos Sanoja, Giovanni Ramirez, Diego Maldonado, Heriberto Rojas, Luca Vincenzetti, among many others.
He has also worked and studied in different ways with international musicians such as; Bruce Gertz, Leo Blanco, Oscar Stagnaro, Ed. Simon, Luis Perdomo.. among others.
In 2009, Mazzei recorded his first CD with 5 original compositions and 2 arrangements.
He counted with participation of great local musicians.
The CD will be soon on the iTunes store worldwide, and will be available in Caracas CdStores by March 2010.
