Ariel Maniki and the Black Halos is a unique dark alternative gothic wave act hailing from San José, Costa Rica. The band has been active since late 2013 and has left an indelible mark on the Costa Rican music scene. Led by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Ariel Maniki, their sound combines haunting melodies, powerful rhythms, and introspective lyrics. The band is completed by Jan on keyboards and Eva on bass.
Their music combines the very essence of gothic rock and darkwave while infusing it with other influences from latin-american music to alternative and new wave.
