Biography
There are at least two artists sharing the name Army of One: 1) a Hip-Hop/R&B group from Kuwait; 2) a Hip-Hop artist from Auckland, New Zealand.
1) Army of One are widely regarded as the most successful and talented Hip-Hop/R&B group in the Middle East. In affiliation of the Kuwait-based ALIEN Records, they released their first album, Reprezentin, in 2005. Three of the band members (Kwe, DubG and Spyro) are rappers, the other three (ArabFace, QB and Daffy) are Rnb singers.
2) Army of One is a 1997-born writer & rap artist from Auckland, New Zealand who has working towards his goal of building a respected Hip-Hop catalog since 2021. Inspired by classic conscious-rap acts from America such as Mos Def & Talib Kweli, Black Thought, Blu, & Kendrick Lamar, but also more home-grown artists like Home Brew and Avantdale Bowling Club, artistry and preservation of everything sacred is paramount to an Army of One project.
