artificial life preserver has been working to preserve algorithms that behave like living systems since 1997. Insect-like drones and cell based beats drive environmental mixes of organized time units. Drawing from his experience as a member of Texas psytrance trio Init-String, artificial life preserver brings you abstract, glitchy downtempo.
Artificial Life Preserver's debut album Automata was released in November of 2007 by long time friends of the cause Psymbolic–sounds, followed by a compilation release of Kricket Dub on Indyroute-Austin in February of 2008. ALP can be heard at clubs, festivals, and radio stations in a town near you.
